UQM Technologies Delivers Motor, Generator System for Long-Haul Class 8 Hybrid Truck Application

FREDERICK, Colo., Nov. 14 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- UQM TECHNOLOGIES, INC. (AMEX:UQM) , a developer of alternative energy technologies, announced today that it has delivered a permanent magnet motor/generator system for application in a long-haul Class 8 hybrid truck. The custom UQM(R) motor/generator system will be integrated into a transmission and provide power generation and electric propulsion assist to the truck's diesel engine.
Commenting on the delivery, William G.
